DIY: Heelsandals straps

Last year I bought some heelsandals without straps. I thought I could learn to walk in them but I failed. I love heels so much but when there is no back I just can't get a grip on them. My feet just slip out the shoes. I have the same thing with flip flops but that's another story. But I found a solution to turn my no strap heelsandals into a pair I do can walk in. It's super easy and just takes like a minute.

You'll need:
- a pair of heelsandals without straps or a pair of pumps without straps
- a rubber band in the color of your shoes, or black, or white
- needle and dread (or in my case a sewing machine)

My Sales Catch

Because of work I didn't had any time yet to go shopping, so I did some online shopping at ASOS!

I bought this clutch and it's larger than I thought it would be, it can fit my laptop so now I love it even more. I just adore the color and the snake fabric, and it fits like every summer outfit I have!

I saw this bustier in River Island and I loved it but I thought it was kinda expensive, than I saw it again on the website for half of the price!
I tried Nail Rock last year and I liked the idea, because when I was on vacation (in a tent) I could not find a place to put on nail polish so I used Nail Rock before I left and it lasted for 10 days!

I just had to have some high waisted black shorts! So I did ^^

The peplum + video

This was my outfit at the graduation party of my boyfriend. I love peplum so much but I'm really picky. So I made this myself, it's actually a dress but I put a corset over it so it would look more classic.

Here is a video I made to show you how to make a peplum skirt.

Festivals + DIY: Skull cut out T-shirt

I live in a small country in Europa called Belgium. Known for it's French Fries, Chocolate, Beer and Festivals! We have Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Graspop, .... Many and many more...
So here are some tips for the perfect festival outfit!

You got to have some old cowboy boots or old all stars. Shoes that can stand a lot of mud, hot weather and rain. Belgium in the summer is known for it's freaky weather. It can be super hot all day and suddenly it's raining so hard that you're standing in the mud till your knees.

Because of the weather always take your rock band sweater and tie it around your waist!

I love shorts at a festival because of the hot weather and a skirt is a big no no when your on someones neck!

You've gotta be a little rock chick on a festival so I wear a skull cut out T-shirt I made myself, it's really easy!

Step 1: Take an old black T and cut of the neck and the arms so you have a top (or you can just take a top but I like this cause it looks more trashy)

Step 2: Draw your skull, you can find examples everywhere but you can try to invent one yourself

Step 3: Cut out your pattern! And your done!

Today is the first day of sales!

A crowded mass, shouting girls, endless rows at the dressing room...
It doesn't sound so great but in one way or another we are all attracted to it.
To make stuff a little easier I made a checklist.

- make a list of the things you need/want and how much money you wanna spend on it
(tip: put them in order from I-really-need-this -->to--> I-don't-really-need-this)

This is mine

- start at the most expensive stores, here you can save big money (tip: if you don't have a big budget, only buy your basics here, the best wardrobe is based on good basics)

Like these

- dress simple, a skin-toned or white bra, a black or white top, a short skirt that you can pull easily over a pair of pants (tip: this outfit allows you to fit clothes without going to a dressing room were you have to wait in an endless row)

Enjoy your shopping!
